ABOUT ME

As a lifelong area resident, I have in-depth real estate knowledge of Litchfield and New Haven Counties. Before my career in real estate, I specialized in fashion merchandising and marketing. After marrying my husband Curt, I decided to take a position at my husbands firm, Smith & Company, Surveyors and Engineers. The years working at the company, I gained knowledge in the field of surveying. Yes, I am really great at finding my way around a piece of property. In the field and as a drafts person I left the profession to raise three very accomplished children, a third year Medical Student, an Architect and a Competitive Swimmer.

As the children grew it was time to go back into the work force, blending the retail, marketing and a surveying background into a career of Residential Real Estate.

In my spare time I have accomplished fundraising and volunteer activities such as UCC of Middlebury: Silent Auction, Region 15: gradnite, Friends of Pomperaug Music, Swim and Dive Team swim trip coordinator. A 15 year and current coordinator of all Christmas Decorations in the Town of Middlebury, and latest and most exciting was the creator, and chairwoman of the Bicentennial Middlebury Garden Club Garden Tour 2007. As an avid gardener when I can find the time, I love to create new gardens. "Plants are like furniture, you want to move them around to make their space more inviting." Having completed course work and exhibitions through the National Council of Flower Show Schools, I have knowledge in the field of design. It’s principles are what makes a home flow and creates the environment in which you live. .

My vast knowledge of new construction and vintage homes leads the way to a well rounded specialist.
